This hotel is easy to get to as it’s along the National highway, but there aren’t many attractions or nice restaurants close by. Free breakfast and free airport shuttle were nice touches. Staff was very helpful and friendly! Also the pool is nice, I was the only one ever there. Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms.

Perfect place for a short/medium stay

The structure is not new but well maintained and kept clean by very kind members of staff. Being so close to the Robinson mall is perfect if you are in need of something and big choice of restaurants to eat in. They can set you up for different things to do, such tour and activities, but because of our short stay and bad weather we couldn't enjoy the Underground River tour. Summing out....a 10 minutes away from the airport good place, where me, my fiancé and our little kid had a nice time with a good breakfast and a quiet swimming pool perfect for kids.

In front of the mall and accessible to the city! Money changer available beside the hotel! I don’t like that lights in the hallway broken for 6 days until we check out!Also no options for bread if you don’t want rice!also options for tea if you Dont want coffee! At breakfast!

The hotel looks a bit old and needs renovation, but our room is spacious and clean. What surprised me most was that Robinson was just across the street. The multi-cab stop area is also right across from the hotel, making it accessible. They served a buffet for breakfast, but not on the last day. Their food is delicious. I do not give it a five star because the swimming pool is unavailable during our six days of stay. I was hoping we could swim after our tiring day on tour, but we didn't. The man at the door was always helpful.

Location was very convent. The property and rooms are showing a lot of wear over the years and could do with some maintenance. My first room had a faulty AC unit which hammered away and a shower which had seen better days. I was offered a different room which was better and had an excellent night sleep. Facilities wise, they have a very decent gym which was not advertised! It has a treadmill, cross trainer and cycle. A full set of dumbells up to 30kgs and best of all a power rack with Olympic bar and plates to match. Only down side is they don't have a bench for all those weights. The bar and restaurant is a bit small with limited drinks available. Very limited alcoholic drinks despite being on the menu and the cocktails where disappointing. Never the less it was a decent comfortable 3 star hotel a stone throw away from a shopping mall and was reasonably priced so for a short stay was perfect.

Staff: Rob, the waiter, and Jerry, the chef were great! There's a large pool table in the pool area. Just bring your own cue chalk. Large lounge chairs near the pool if you want to get a tan. Swimming classes were available if you wanted. Attached Baby pool too. The hot water shower pressure was a little low, the handheld shower attachment would not spray upwards. Room mini fridge, coffee pot with coffee, creamer, sugar were a big help.. especially when you're suffering with a 12 hr jet-lag. Bottled water was replaced daily in your room. Bottom line.. WILL stay there again! Airport rides.. about 6 minutes away are available without a fee. There's a smoking area if you need it. Breakfast buffet was Really good! Everything kept hot! A Good place to stay in Puerto Princesa Palawan!!!

Safe your money!

I’ve been travelling SE Asia and this is the worst hotel/hostel I’ve stayed in so far. The hotel is very dated and doesn’t look like the pictures. The room was filthy, I had ti keep changing my socks from walking around the room. Red ants everywhere on the bed and walls, no water pressure and extremely loud. Curtains didn’t keep the light out so expect to wake up at sunrise. Breakfast was cold plain rice, eggs and canned meat. Location wise it’s opposite a mall which has a few electronic shops and hundreds of fried chicken restaurants. It’s criminal the amount they charge per night for the quality of the room.

Not what i expected

Usually I don't bother leaving reviews. I am a business man in charge of apac with 11 countries and 22 resellers so my time is quite limited. But for this hotel I will make the time. First and foremost the staff are very kind and pleasant. Special shout out to Bella in the restaurant who helped make me something off the menue to help with my stomach issues. Thank you very much Bella! The hotel staff did try to help with my requests as best they could but the hotel owner really needs to improve the facilities. Breakfast is incredibly simple and needs much much more variety. The door key rarely worked and took at least 5 attempts with me putting my back into the door before I could get inside. There are no plug adaptors available so my laptop died the first night and the rooms shower has minimal water pressure...trickle showers only. I stayed a total of 5 nights and never received a clean bathroom mat, always blackened and filthy. I won't recommend this hotel unless the owner makes an investment to greatly improve their offering. I will stay elsewhere next time.

Hotel is going under renovation, i can understand the current appearance of certain parts of the hotel. My room i assume was next. The aircon wouldn't really get cold in the room. My friends in a different room had to wear a sweater because their aircon worked really good. I didn't use the tv. From 200 channels, you received 20-25 channels. Every station was in tagalog.. nothing for an American or foreigners from other countries to watch. The staff was Very nice, especially the people in the restaurant area. I got to the restaurant at 6am when it opened. The sternos under the food were not lit this early, the food was cold. Go for breakfast around 8am, the sternos are lit and the food is hot. Besides that.. it IS a good place to stay! This is my 2nd stay there, i Will stay there again. It's less than a 10 minute ride to the airport. They provide rides to/from airport. If you play pool, bring you own pool cue chalk. I didn't use the pool, it was clean and looked good! It offers a great sunset over the mountains view from the back staircase. Most people would enjoy staying here. I did!

They advertise a swimming pool, but was not open once. They advertise complimentary airport pickups, but after multiple attempted and unanswered calls we had to hire a taxi. When we asked why we weren't picked up and why our calls weren't answered, staff just smiled and said nothing.

My friends and I had a planned stay for three days. Upon arrival we noticed the hotel being under some renovations (which is normal), however upon getting out key room the AC was no properly working, the tv remote didn’t worked at all, once we were able to turn on the TV it didn’t have any channels and since it was an old TV we couldn’t even display our phones. We were a group of three people and only received two towels, not mouth it feet towels at all, only one toilet paper was available. The room was dark, the lights didn’t help at all with the ambience. Our breakfast was ok, eggs were cold, very cold… and AC was super high which ideally that would have been good in the room…

Property is very nice when you eventually get to it. It is off the main road - one has to pass a very bumpy dirt road for 10 minutes to get there. When it rains, there are large puddles of water to negotiate. None of this was mentioned in the listing. I had breakfast one morning with extra fruit and was told that the cost would be 10 pesos. When the bill came, I was charged 160 pesos. On the bill, it is listed and a French Toast and not extra fruit - their excuse is that they do not have an item of 'extra fruit' in their system so they just charged me 160 pesos instead of 10 pesos. It is not the money but the practice that they do such things to their guests. Thanks but no thanks !
