“This lodge is every bit is beautiful as the pictures show. They had a young sloth on property that we saw the first day. We saw all sorts of birds and agoutis too. Staff were very helpful. Filtered water and coffee on endless supply in the dining area. The Wi-Fi on the property is good, but it does not extend to the cabins. “The staff was super responsive and hotel gave an excellent jungle experience. I will say the location was deceptive. The map looks like its in Cahuita when its actually a 45 minute drive away in Punta Uva. Also you must pay for your stay in cash or they will charge an exorbitant credit card fee.”

“The place is 200 m from Playa Chiquita entrance (cars can only go about 100 m, then it's end road and you have to walk anyway). They have a nice restaurant inside the property with really good food and you can avoid the crowds in town. Excellent place to rest and the staff is super kind.”

“The place is ok, a little over rated in my opinion. One has to get out of the car to open gate to get into a small parking space. They woke me up early on Sunday morning to move my car, cause I was the last one in the parking space last night and someone wanted to leave, so I had to get up to move my car. They were very rude about it. So parking is an issue, as it was raining hard and had to get out to open and close gate also.”

“Front desk lied to us when we tried to check in. Said they had never heard of Hotels.com nor Expedia. Said they had no rooms even though we had a confirmation and pre paid receipt from Hotels.com. I contacted Hotels.com and they contacted the hotel. Miraculously, the front desk remembered Hotels.com ! Front desk told the Hotels.com agent that the new agreement had not been signed yet....”
