"Stayed at this hotel from June 27-July 4th for my honeymoon and it was easily the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. Villa 3 was absolutely disgusting. Immediately upon entrance to the villa, the lock (main outdoor) completely came apart… this was frustrating but we figured it’s ok we’d go talk to reception. My wife went to then take a shower and the shower head fell.. thankfully it missed her head. I became frustrated, complained to reception and then they sent someone to come fix it. I thought ok...

"The grounds are expansive and absolutely beautiful. We saw monkeys, giant green macaws and toucans on the property. The location - between Playa Cocles and Playa Chiquita - is perfect. Both restaurants on the property were great - we especially loved the cocktails and ceviche at Spice House. We stayed in a two-story family villa.
