“Rooms were spacious and immaculate ”

“Property and room was clean. Pool area was nice. Staff was nice and greeted us when we passed them. Breakfast and dinner were both good. Overall the stay was very enjoyable for the price!”

Bathroom (toilet) had not been cleaned prior to our stay and was just covered (partially) with a towel to maybe hide the lack of cleaning ? Breakfast is in a tiny cramped room and is packaged food, cereal, and yogurt. It’s a place to sleep but not worth the 8-9 star reviews they supposedly. ”

“We were initially put in a room that clearly smelled like smoke. My wife asked that we be moved to a different room. The first room they showed her smelled strongly like dog poop. The next room was fine, and we were grateful that the staff helped. The hallway smelled like smoke, which was not good. Our room wasn’t made up in the three days we stayed. “It was very noisy. I was moved twice and the third one was extremely noisy. It sounded like some kind of construction within the building. They had no drinking water in the room are on the floor you had to go to the first floor to get coffee or water I am diabetic and had left my food that I ordered in the room that I moved from called the front desk to ask if someone could bring my food from the refrigerator in the last room I was in because I no longer had access to the room I was told no and...

“Room was very nice, clean. Front desk clerk was very nice. Did not use the pool. My only complaint is the $75 pet fee. This is outrageous. I have never paid more than $25 for a pet fee. It would be very helpful if Expedia would post the pet fees. For this reason I will never stay at a Marriot hotel again. I have traveled with dogs all my life and they are/were well trained and have never, ever damaged a hotel room or airbnb home.”

“Great breakfast offering, check in staff were great and very friendly. Parking was easy, finding the room was easy. There were a few bugs in the room but that’s not a huge deal, bugs happen! “First and foremost, this place has no elevator! So prepare to carry your bags up the steps. I did not find one of the front desk people very friendly or willing to help. Shades on the windows in the bedroom are not very private nor do they keep out any light. The furniture in the room is very rickety. And the breakfast was worthless. Hard-boiled eggs and waffles toast and muffins was basically all they had. If you can, find another place to stay. ”

“It wasn’t far from the historic, downtown area where all the action is. The manager and owner were very accommodating with a room change I requested. Know that this is located about a Mile or so from the historic downtown so walking may not be desirable. Also it is a boutique, older hotel with common areas that are not really well cleaned and presented. Our actual room was comfortable and clean with unmatched towels but decorated nicely.
