While the exterior could use a little love with fresh paint and flowers (the photo advertisement is deceiving), we found the room to be modernized with new bedding and mattress, large tv, and a spacious fridge and freezer. Would not hesitate to return.

Though the room was older it was cozy and clean. Staff was amazing and helpful. Bathroom no mold so yay!! It does take 2 hours to drive from motel to tow hill area but the drive which we did everyday was beautiful and amazing.

I stayed at this motel after arriving late on the ferry from Prince Rupert. Check-in was quick, with a friendly welcome from the hostess and a greeting from her two pets. The bedroom and bathroom were clean. Keep in mind that this is a motel, not a luxury hotel, so set your expectations accordingly. The room decor is simple but meets all basic needs; the mattress was comfortable, and there were several pillows provided. If you are visiting from outside Canada or the United States, be sure to bring a universal travel adapter, as there are no USB ports available (though there are plenty of standard electrical outlets in the bedroom). The motel provides Wi-Fi, which is essential since mobile reception across the entire island is very limited. Smoking is only permitted outdoors; there is a table and chairs on the walkway in front of the room if you’d like to sit outside. Should the situation arise again, I would definitely stay at this motel once more.
