Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark
6/10 Okay
"Staff are charging people room with food and drinks at water slide. I never signed for anything nor ordered anything but still charge customers and refuse to refund. Such a scam!"
"Staff was friendly and great. The pool and hot tub were excellent. The room was on the smaller side, as is to be expected in a more historic hotel, but had everything we needed and was very nice."
"Very pet friendly my dog was not bothered.
We slept great. Very quiet space!
Husband and I swam in the pool it was a bit cold, but we went during winter, our fault. Lol"
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lake George (Queensbury), NY
10/10 Excellent
"Room was big and clean, we had 2 queen size beds. The bathroom was huge with a large counter, enough for all your toiletries. There was a mini fridge with a freezer and a microwave. Nikita at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was good, with all the basics of a continental breakfast.
Fresh coffee served 24 hours.
Wifi and parking included.
Location was excellent, close to the outlets, Target, T.J. Maxx, etc
Overall a really good hotel.
Would go again."
"When we arrived for our “deluxe room”, we were put in a nasty motel building next to the main building. It smelled terrible and musky right when you walked in. It was pretty cold so we put the heat on immediately and the heater was extremely loud. We then went to the main building and asked if we could upgrade. The woman explained the upgrades to us and said that they had a handicap accessible room available in which we took because we wanted to get out of the yucky motel. When we got to the room, everything seemed fine other than that it wasn’t explained to us that it would be a little different. We didn’t have a nice shower and the bathroom was different. (Same price as regular room upgrade) The heating system didn’t work properly and both mornings we woke up to tons of construction sounds from the room above us. I called and complained, and it did not stop. It was going on pretty late at night as well. It was never explained to us that there would be construction in the room above our heads. We also had to call maintenance pretty late at night because our TV did not work and the phone did not work. They just weren’t hooked up or something. We upgraded to a better room and paid more money and it honestly didn’t seem that way. The towels in the room smelled weird also. "
