We liked that it was 4 minutes drive to Arrowtown and 15 to Queenstown. Very spacious studio bach with good facilities. We also enjoyed using the clean spa pool.

We very much enjoyed our stay here, particularly the service provided by Roy. We had a problem with a delayed bag on our flight and even though this was in no way the responsibility of the hotel, Roy helped us with communications and other assistance. The room itself is large and the kitchen is well furnished.

Feels like home. Great place if looking for quiet surroundings. Will need a car as there is no public transportation close by. If booking the barn and only 1-2 people occupied it will be a studio setting not one bedroom apartment as found out upon arrival. If wanting access to the attached room it was advised on a Google review that it would cost extra and one will need to ask the property management otherwise will not be accessible. Otherwise would recommend as it is in a beautiful setting.

We had such a lovely stay here. We were up from invercargill for a wedding.We arrived late and the host left lights on and heated room for our arrival. The room was well equiped and in immaculate condition. Highly recommend staying here. Lovely and tranquil. Couldnt fault a thing.

Inexpensive and very nice. I would come back. Quiet. Out of the way. Seems remote but Not too far from town. Only caution is the dryer. Not very effective and very expensive. Washer can wash a lot more than dryer can dry.

Won't stay here again!

This is our second stay - 4 nights each time. The owner was angry with us for taking 2 towels from the laundry - we stayed 4 nights and were only given 1 towel each. We didn't want to bother the owner, so when we saw towels in the laundry we thought this would be ok. I was also cold, so took a duvet to keep warm on the couch whilst watching tv - there was adequate heating, but I wanted to be cosy. We were in Queenstown to watch our daughter run the marathon - she lives 5 mins away from the accommodation and she drove to us, then we took her out for dinner, dropping her back at her home. Meaning there were 2 cars at the accommodation. The owner accused us of having her stay with us overnight. She stayed for dinner a couple of nights then my husband drove her home. At no point did she stay after 9.30pm. This has left a bad taste in our mouths after having a wonderful time with our daughter and although convenient we will never stay here again. Oh, and food was under the couch, so nothing gets moved to vacuum!

Stunning situation

We stayed in the King Studio in the main house. The room was very large, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The garden was a real bonus and gave stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The laundry facilities were well resourced. We would definitely return to Willowbrook.
