First of all, the hotel building itself is a piece of history almost 500 years. Second, unbeatable location, able to walk to all major historical landmarks easily. It is a very safe hood. There are plenty of restaurants around, next door to a grocery store. Hotel staff are very friendly.

La Casona de la Ronda Boutique Hotel
Very nice inn like hotel. Room was spacious and clean. They sent staff to meet our taxi and walk us to the hotel. Nice dinner and breakfast. The room are filled with tapestries and darker wood and colours so thats a different vibe than a modern hotel. Front desk staff very pleasant.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Plaza Grande. The location is excellent and lots of shopping nearby. Easy access to historical sites. Hotel Casa Alquimia
Corner room was much nicer with 3 big windows facing the church square. Hot water worked fine this time. Ask for room #4, avoid #5 as hot water wasn't working and it is pretty dark.
