“Amazing stay from pre-check-in to check out. Clean room with amenities. We took our dog and they provided a dog bed, towel, water bowl and treats. Perfect bolthole for a stay away. We sat and played games in the snug area of the bar with an open fire for the afternoon. There’s complimentary canapés from 5:30pm and the restaurant had dishes for all dietary requirements. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We will be returning again.”

“This beautiful, comfortable Hotel is in the heart of Saxmundham, moments from the station. The Helpful Staff, Callum, was wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would stay again.”

The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. ”

We stayed in one of the garden rooms which was gorgeous, and would be even nicer when warmer as each has a little table and chairs in front - the room had everything you could want v spacious and gorgeous Temple Spa bathroom products, and a lovely touch was the complimentary bottle of Copper House gin ;) lovely meal in the restaurant and delicious breakfast. “We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. ”

“A beautiful property set in beautiful surroundings that had every mod con and item you could possibly need! The beds were so comfy and the ensuite shower, well wow! I did not want to get out! The water is so soft and the pressure is far more superior compared to where we live! We visited the beach too for a couple of days, which was amazing, The Trawlerman gets a mention for the best fish n chips we’ve had in a long time! We will definitely return to stay as we have family living nearby now!...

“Such a fantastic hotel, parking on site but small, there is a paid carpark right near by that is not expensive. The room has everything and more, beautiful furnishings. Lovely walk along the promenade. ”

“The apartment enjoys a central location in the lovely quaint coastal town of Southwold. A very comfortable, spacious flat with plenty of shops and places to eat on your doorstep. The bedrooms are on a slightly lower level to the living room and kitchen area and would benefit from some sort of coloured strip to draw your attention to this as the flooring is all one uniform colour. An accident waiting to happen! Otherwise a really nice place to stay.”
