Just an incredible place. The staff (especially the cleaning lady and at the bar) went out of their way to accommodate us. The wine is some of the best I've ever had and we will be back again. Calm, quiet, historical and top class food and drink.

Far far away, on the top of the hill there is special place to get away. You need the car to get there but what’s a views. The gay at the desk is super nice and friendly. Rooms are with privet backyard and parking. Recommend to everyone who wants to escape from craziness of the world.

Lovely, very quaint. Room excellent, breakfast good, staff lovely. You definitely need a car to stay there. Only down side is there is no bar facility after about 7.30. But all rooms have a fridge so you can store own drinks and have in lovely surroundings. Would stay again, it was pretty, quiet and unique in beautiful countryside.

We had an amazing time at Castello di Volpaia, it is truly a hidden gem. Out of all our travels in Europe, this was our favourite stay, it was remote in the beautiful tuscany wine region and we had amazing wine. The food is also amazing at the restaurants, some of the best we had in Italy. I cannot recomend this place enough. What made our stay the best was the staff, they treated us like family and made sure we were taken care of: Lorenzo and Asif were the best!

Easily one of my favourite places I have ever stayed. If you're looking for a tranquil escape this is your place. So stunning and the history is amazing. The ONE thing is its tricky to get to if you don't have a car so make you're comfortable with driving before you book. There is free parking onsite though.

Staff was wonderful. We arrived late and had a difficult time finding the right road to the property. Fabio was in contact with us the entire time and had to rescue us after we got lost. Thank you. Had a wonderful meal at the restaurant and breakfast the next day was exceptional. The room was very nice and clean. The wine tour was great and enjoyed the tasting. Stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed more. Highly recommended.

So glad we found this gem! It’s an idyllic medieval village with the most stunning views, and the staff made us feel so welcome. They truly cared for their guests and took the time for each one. Volpaia was a great experience. Staying in a small medieval village was very charming. The interior temp was very comfortable even in June. Max temp outside was 82F but inside felt like 76F with evening cooling down to 70. Not humid. Several dining choices from home-cooking to formal. Centrally located to other towns in the. Chianti region. Staff were great with excellent service and communication.

We were there 4 nights… last 2 nights no water.. I was told by a neighbor that our building was the only one with this problem. They should have not rented this property knowing this. Love this town but this is second class lodging.
