"The woman who greeted us was very helpful and friendly, but that was the last good thing that happened. The room was absurdly small, maybe 12' x 12', and the ceilings slope almost to the floor! If you are over 4' 6" tall (125cm?) (I do not exaggerate) you will certainly suffer a painful bump on the head. Also, there is no AC: it was very uncomfortably hot and stuffy. And this is not a full service hotel. For example, if there is a problem in the corridor in the middle of the night (as there was)...

"Had a one night stay as we were driving through the area. Cons: No AC in the room, and it was WARM. Old and rock hard beds. Rooms were very loud, and i could hear my neightbour snoring just as well as i heard the traffic from the autobahn. Breakfast was ok. Not too much to choose from, but for the price of the stay i guess it was ok. Pros: Easy and accessible parking. Friendly staff. Very close to the Autobahn, easy choice when you are just travelling through the area."

The mattresses were thin and not particularly comfortable. Our view of the forest was to a rain drenched copse strewn with beer cans and a tissue (I hope unused). Perfectly adequate, but overrated. "Uns hat das Spree Hotel direkt am Spree Hafen in Lübbenau ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Es ist modern, hell und überraschend ruhig gelegen, die Betten sind komfortabel, das Badezimmer hat eine schicke Dusche. Das Frühstück vielfältig. Die Damen an der Rezeption sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir empfehlen dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall und würden gerne wiederkommen."

" Very little English speaking staff at front desk. Changes in lobby bar hours/services with no warning. They had no shampoo/conditioner in room but had shower caps despite no shower in room. Reserved a queen bed room and given a loft with spiral steps to bedroom on second floor, not mentioned I reservation. Loft warm with only a small window and fan for ventilation. "
