"The room was just ok. Very small, cheap amenities and the first night there was a very bad smell in the bathroom— sewage smell. "This property is falsely advertised as a 4.5-star hotel; in reality, it falls far short of that standard. It is an old, converted house with dated furnishings, holes in window frames, and a leaking roof. While the staff are friendly—and Smith, in particular, was very persistent in his efforts to help us—the management fails on basic amenities. There was no daily housekeeping or spa as promised, and we were even locked out one day due to the lack of a 24-hour front desk. The food is only bearable, the location provides lovely view, but is an absolute inconvenience, being far removed from the main road."
