"Relatively clean and Spartan in amenities. A good utilitarian place to stay in LA but was not very comfortable according to my rather sybaritic standards. "

"I didn't have breakfast or use the hotel restaurant.
However, the towels weren't clean, so we ordered one. Additionally, a lot of the furniture was already broken.
Good location thata all not special. "
"The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. Everything was great except for the smell of the hallway. I think it’s the carpet that kinda smells really musty. I would stay there again."
"Absolutely loved our stay at Short Stories hotel. The room was spacious, homey and clean. The housekeeping staff were incredible and provided a turn down service as well as the morning housekeeping. It’s a very central location and super convenient being right across from the Grove and Farmers markets. We really enjoyed our stay here"
