“WOW what a fabulous hotel! We had a lovely welcome at reception, our room was bigger than expected for a 'cosy' room. It was lovely and clean and although there was no aircon a substantial fan had been provided. The bed was very comfy. Bathroom was spacious, fluffy towels and toiletries which smelled gorgeous. We had supper and drinks on the terrace but I sent mine back as the chicken was very dry, there was no problem and when a fresh meal was served it was delicious. Breakfast was the usual...

“Comfortable beds, nice decor, air conditioning was great with all the hot weather. Shower was nice, staff lovely! Only gripe was a dog barking from 7 in the morning when we wanted a little lie in but that's not in the hotels control if guests dogs are barking. Only mention it as it's worth considering if you book into a pet friendly hotel there is a small chance of noise disturbance”

“Very spacious rooms: Nest & clean. Very good Breakfast. Room amenities were pretty good too. However, A/C filters weren’t clean upon our arrival. Similarly, bathroom door’s lock wasn’t working. But overall a good place to stay in Bristol city centre.”

“Lovely large room, comfy bed sand very dog friendly. Lots of parking and advantage of park and ride into Bath 10min walk away. Excellent Sunday roast and fantastic breakfast will definitely be back!”

“Stunning views and walks on rodborough common. Delightful staff, good food and a lovely beer garden serving drinks and food, including pizza stand. Very dog friendly with basket, blanket, bowls and even a doggy sausage breakfast”
