"I can’t recommend this place enough! Great communication with Eric all the way through, we came a bit late, and before we could order our meals over email and it was ready. Great WiFi! Evening watching fireflies in the dark. The food both breakfast and dinner was delicious. Eric also helped book our safari trip witch was terrific!"

"This villa is incredible. You are away from the world and it’s just you and the villa. And Jagath, the caretaker, who was extremely helpful and friendly. Such a beautiful villa and the food brought in was amazing, only thing that beat it was the bbq Jagath made for me on my second night! "Stayed at this hotel for one night. Went to another hotel in Yala. Was not pleased with what I saw. My family and I turned around and went back to stay here for another night. Very clean hotel, very polite staff who go above and beyond to ensure you have a relaxing and comfortable stay. Highly recommend staying here if you are ever in Weerawila. Keep up the great work!!! :) "

"My family and I stayed for one night at the Hantara Hotel as we needed nearby accommodation for our National Park safari. The setting of the hotel is absolutely stunning - in amongst nature with the wildlife, plenty of areas to walk around the hotel or sit and relax in a hammock. The facilities were comfortable and the cleanliness of the rooms was excellent. Oscar really made our stay enjoyable - he was very attentive, a really friendly and accommodating manager. The service and quality of the food were really stand out - Oscar and the chef are a credit to the hotel! The only downside for us was that the pool was being renovated while we were staying there, so we couldn't go for a cooling dip after the safari, but we would most definitely go back to Hantara Hotel and hope to do so soon!!"

"One of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka! Lovely family run accommodation in a quiet area. The family were so welcoming and it was such a pleasure getting to know them. The room was very spacious , clean , nicely decorated and very comfortable. We had dinner and had big portions of delicious , authentic , home cooked food. We also had a lovely traditional Sri Lankan breakfast there. They arranged our morning safari which was so memorable and we had a fantastic guide. We were even given water and iced coffee for the journey! It is excellent value for money and I would recommend this guest house to anyone. "

"Had a great stay... only down side being we were only there for 2 nights Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. Rooms great and well appointed.Great setting and relaxing after or before safari. Only bit of advice is dont go too late for breakfast or buffet evening meal, as its all been hoovered up. Would recommend and if we find ourself in same area again, will re book. "
