“Beautiful accommodations - up to date, spacious room, large bathroom. The grounds were very attractive and well kept. Dining was very good which is nice since the lodge is a bit out of the way from other options. Good location - not too far from San Jose and close to the Poas Volcano National Park and not far from the La Paz Waterfalls.”

“This was an inexpensive option for our family to stay in Sarapiqui. The property is interesting because of the covered pathways and proximity to two miles of rainforest trails, and we spied frogs, howler monkeys, iguana, caterpillars, etc. Breakfast was wonderful. “The forest and the wildlife are the reason for staying here so in that respect this place gets 10 out of 10. We did a birding tour and a night walk and took advantage of the free nature walk. The latter was conducted by Joel and I strongly encourage people not to pass on this even though they may have other tours booked. “OMG we loved this place. Best part of out 10 day trip that included Arenal and Manuel Antonio. Great early birding tour, and saw tanagers and kingbirds from our balcony. The cabins and walkways are of beautiful wood, nestled in trees and flowers. ”
