Everything about this hotel was exceptionally good. It was spacious, clean and had everything you would want in a luxury hotel. There was a wide choice of bars, restaurants and swimming pools. And watching the sun go down while lying on the hotel beach was one of the highlights of my whole stay.

Amazing Weekend Gateway

We had a wonderful time at the hotel; I was with my daughter and wife. The resort has small slides and a separate pool for children, making pool time enjoyable for families. The resort also has a private beach for hotel guests and offers water sports. The Seafood Shack restaurant serves amazing seafood, and the food is delicious.

TV available in room is not useful as it is having few local channels and not a smart one. Housekeeping not done properly. Pools made our day otherwise Room conditions is very bad. Full night we heard noise from construction equipment nearby.

To be honest I come at 11:30 pm and before I book the room I saw some photo that will be like sea view but after I arrive the front office man told me no it’s not and was instructions view i ask him to upgrade he told me it’s not available in that time and to be honest this wasn’t the best …… But the very good thing the information guys and room service was absolutely Fridley and amazing… the guy in night shift he older me taxi he was so nice he was in info office,,,

Cheap stay = Cheap experience

We booked a 1 bedroom suite for a family of 5 and we're disappointed to find that there was no door between the rooms. The only bed for 3 children was 1 tiny sofa bed which was barely bigger than a single bed. The hotel did provide another bed, but you could feel every spring in it and it was not comfortable. The gym was acceptable, the kids pool, while very overcrowded, was small but perfect for kids. Especially the slides. We booked half board and that meant buffet food. Breakfast was acceptable but dinner was not up to standard at all compared to other UAE hotels. The staff were all very friendly and good to us. I can't fault them. I wouldn't stay here again.

3am - check in was great. The sea view room/balcony, had a fantastic view. The hotel is very clean in all communal areas and I can't fault the interior or facilities. Buffet breakfast was really nice, although slightly repetitive after 8 days. Not on the all inclusive package, but the meals in the restaurants and bar were really good. I was aware of ongoing development surrounding the resort, which is on all sides - although this really had no impact. You do feel slightly trapped, as there is nothing within walking distance (heat) although Leptis supermarket is a 5 mins taxi ride away. I was hoping to go to Al Hamra mall which is only a few km away - however the road there is underging works, and would be a 50 km detour according to taxis. The x 2 pools for adults were fine and quiet - although the one near the beach - had multiple tiles missing and clearly needs some maintenance, as also the grout is very black in certain areas. In terms of the beach, in the last week of September - half the beach umbrellas were missing the 'tops' in unbearable heat which caused problems as the resort was full. This was later rectified and new 'tops' added and the resort appeared a lot quieter early October. As a UK tourist, I would not unfortunately return again and also feel this should not be marketed to the UK market. 95% of the guests were Russian, who I found rude and disrespectful to the beach/bar/restaurant staff. Reception/tours/sales staff ignore you, if not Russian.

There us a huge problem in the rooms cleanliness, the floor was very dirty, I walked pair foot fir a minute and my feet became black The toilet mirror wasn't fixed properly to use, when I tried to fix it by my hand trying to complete my makeup with one hand as I have to, a nasal mucus sticked in my hand, imagine how disgusting this was. Moreover, we asked for ice bucket which is free at any hotel I visited in different countries, they charged us for it. The food at the restaurant was in a very low quality with a poor collection and the juices taste was terrible, we tried the Fanta and it tasted like water. The beach was dirty and the water was fill of grass. Although it took us around 3 hours to check in due to the traffic of guests in the reception with the slowness of the staff, when we asked fir a late checkout as a compensation, they gave us 20 minutes only and kept calling and sending staff to request us to leave or they will charge us, ignoring that we checked in at 5:30pm due to their unorganized process. An experience that I will never repeat
