"Like the pet friendly aspect. Room was very clean and nice, grounds around facility had a lot of scattered trash."

"Fortunately the carpet appeared clean, other features were lacking--refrigerator wasn't operating, tub worn from age, sagging shower curtain rod couldn't keep curtain shut, all faucets and fixtures calcified and worn. Bed was hard, not comfortable. When I reported the shower curtain issue they appeared to fix it enough to help, and got the refrigerator working, but not until food inside was ruined. I will say breakfast was good."

"The room is what I expected for the price that I paid. I had a major issue with getting into my room. When I was about two hours away I called to ask about their after hours check in. They said they didn't have after hours check in. The office would close at 10pm. After pleading with them, they said they'd leave the door unlocked and gave me a room number. THEY DID NOT LEAVE THE DOOR UNLOCKED FOR US. Lucky for me they use crappy doorknobs and I easily picked the lock so that I could stay in the room that I had paid for."

"On May 12 2026 my daughter and I were on a road trip. We ended up booking a room at the Microtel in Raton NM. Unknowingly the security latch was broken on the room we stayed in. At 930 am housekeeping barged in unannounced and I had to tell them to leave. This is an extreme security risk, especially for two women staying alone. When you're paying for Wyndham quality and get below Motel 8 you expect more than an I'm sorry. I have called Orbitz for two weeks trying to get this resolved, but they apparently can't get a hold of the hotel. I am asking for a refund due to the security risk we were put in."
