โThis is a beautiful oasis in the countryside, near Selinunte and beaches. It was such a great place to escape the heat, the stress of driving around Sicily using google maps, and traveling in general. Masseria del Carboj has modern amenities, nice aesthetics, a beautiful pool in the middle of vineyard, and feels like you're in Napa valley. The restaurant (Racina) at the hotel is absolutely amazing, like Michelin star level food, so definitely eat here when you stay. โ
โFirst impression on arrival was very poor as it looked like abandoned place : )
But, next morning I realzed it was located at the peaceful seaside which was perfect Sicilian and best among places I travelled for a week in terms of natural beauty.โ

โThe hotel owners are very nice and proud of their B&B. The included breakfast is very good. One of the brothers gave us a tour of his herb garden explaining each plant, where it came from and how its used with cooking. I gave them 5/5 stars because I donโt think they deserve a 4/5 but they are not perfect either. They could have provided more help navigating the local busses and restaurants. When we arrived they gave us a map of Sciacca and about 5 local restaurants but we still had a hard time...
โLoved this property. So welcoming. Home cooked food was quick and tasty. Amazing fish pasta followed by sea bass. Can't complain about that! Didn't have time to enjoy it but the pool looked amazing. Breakfast relied on a bit more processed and pre packaged pastries than I'd like. There was a good choice though and plenty to fuel us for the day. A great stopover. Remote and peaceful.โ
