What was surprising for a new hotel were the narrow beds, low WC and in the dining room the chairs were very low - not applicable in any other hotel that we have recently stayed in. The lack of disable-friendly aspects within the bedroom was also surprising as the booking had stated a disability was a fact in our respective situation."

"Pleasant 2 night stay in a lovely quiet town. Comfortable bed, spacious accommodation. Nice quiet aircon, excellent parking. Top marks for the croissants. I think the communal area would benefit from a water cooler and/or a vending machine, as we were there on a Sunday when everywhere is closed, and it was very hot. This is not a criticism, more an observation."

"Stayed here overnight during our journey back home from Italy to Scotland. Lovely hotel, great location in the characterful town of Thann, good parking. Our room was very nice and had good views of the grounds. The bed and bathroom were also good and the level of fittings and fixtures in the room was better than average. We were delighted to discover that we were staying in the same room as occupied by General De Gaulle in 1945! Our dinner in the restaurant was very good and the local wine excellent, however a bit on the expensive side. There is also a very nice resident dog! Breakfast was good with some spectacular pastries but we were a little disappointed not to be served with real coffee but with the usual dispensed from the ubiquitous coffee machine!"

Staff very helpful reserving taxis & assisting guests. No real parlor or sitting area, however, for travelers who like a place in which to relax outside of their room."
