"I am a Wyoming native who grew up in Teton County, Wyoming and now live in Fremont County, Wyoming. I have traveled all over Wyoming and much of Montana. This hotel was a huge disappointment. I have not been to Cooke City, Montana since the 1980s. I was expecting the hotel to at least have the basics when it comes to a clean room, a comfortable bed, WiFi, TV Service and an ability to contact hotel staff. I made a phone call on the Hotel phone and an answering machine picked up and said to leave a message. The hotel smelled bad like mold. There was no staff around much of the time. The small fridge in the room made a loud buzzing noise much of the time and I had to unplug it. The building itself looked as if it were decaying. The floor in the room was sagging when I walked toward the entry door. At night you could see light under the door as there was a one inch gap and light over the top of the door as well. The entire Hotel building should be condemned. I don't know who owns this property but they should be fined for serious infractions. Do not stay at this hotel."
