"Everything was amazing. I've been staying in Red River for years and have stayed in a number of places, with experiences ranging from "meh" to bedbugs. I'll never stay anywhere else again! This was the first place that actually felt like a hotel rather than hotel-that's-really-just-a-rental.
I'll state the one negative first: no elevator. Other than that, I can't think of a thing I would change.
The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable (5 pillows for a king—yay!), and there was plenty of space for luggage, accessible plugs, great AC/heat, a fridge, microwave, and a window that opened all the way. Being riverside, I loved hearing the water. The bathroom was sparklingly clean, with 2 washcloths, 2 hand towels, and 2 bath towels for EACH person. Glorious!
Parking is a huge plus. There are so many lodging options in Red River where parking is limited or nonexistent. Here, parking was easy and plentiful.
Breakfast was another surprise—they cook eggs to order, and they're done perfectly! The hot tub was sparklingly clean, with plenty of towels and benches. Looking out over the river from the hot tub was the very definition of idyllic. The fire pit and grills looked great too.
I hope you give the Best Western a try when you're next in Red River, NM!"
