"Had a lovely week at the ALDAU and was blown away by home huge it is. The pool is an absolute beast! A great family spot with lots to do and great service and staff. The food wasn't especially amazing unless you were able to score a reservation to one of the restaurants on site, which was nearly impossible to do, and you could only go once if you could. "We loved our stay at Desert Rose! My family stayed here for 6 nights and had a great time. The food is decent — good amount of choice for a buffet style hotel and a la carte restaurants were OK. The bars were plenty! The rooms were really nice, although we stayed in a recently refurbished room which was nicely decorated and kept really clean. "Great location, great food, amazing staff but a little dated in places. We had a strange smell coming from the AC and the room was a bit tired looking. The furniture was all dented, but very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Housekeeper was brilliant and even made a towel birthday cake for my mum. If I ever find myself in Hurghada again, I will return. Thanks"
