“The grounds around the property were so lovely. Had nice walking paths that overlooked the Rotten Caulder River and small waterfalls. Serve tea in the castle every afternoon and you can choose in which public room you would like to be served. Mine was in the library. Breakfast was quite good. ”

“Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Room was gorgeous and very spacious. Hotel was gorgeous, breakfast tasty. Nice touch having a tunnocks tea cake and wafer in the room. Wish we could have stayed for a second night.”

“Really lovely hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I can't remember if there were smaller rooms but as a single occupant my for what I paid the room was definitely worth it, great value. It's about a 20 or so min walk from Kilmarnock station so not far from town centre. The area around the hotel is a small stadium and mainly residential. Only bit of constructive feedack I would give is the nespresso coffee machine in my room while there is a manual in the drawer maybe...

“Wir hatten das als Basis für mehrere Tage in der Umgebung. Viel zu sehen und mit Auto unglaublich praktisch gelegen. Normal für England sind die hellhörigen Fenster, aber für uns ging es ohne Probleme. Wir hatten das Zimmer im Haupthaus, sehr gross, top Badezimmer und Bett. Frühstück ok, für den Preis kann man nicht meckern. ”

“Was not sure when choosing this hotel, in Cumbernauld, but worked out great to be away from the busy hub-bub of a city like Glasgow, so the quiet location was right. Nice leisure factifies like an adjacent golf course, sauna, pool, good changing room, lockers. Drinking fountain by pool was off-on! Plenty of parking.”

“Great hotel, aside from the double bed being the smallest double bed I’ve ever seen it was a brilliant stay with very clean and tidy well maintained facilities. The bar is keenly priced, no complaints ”
