The place was so filty, dirty and unsafe to stay. I checked out and so lucky to booked at CircusCircus. Nothing to compare with Howard Johnson’s… no comparison at all.

There was a sign on the office to go to the Travel Lodge to check in. Christina (desk clerk) was lovely. Our room door had no weather stripping and light came through ALL the way around it. The curtain didn't cover the window and my husband had to close it in the door for privacy. There was no mat or grab bar in the slippery shower, which was very narrow. The floor was a bit sticky to our shoes.

Too noisy, felt unsafe. Old building, needs a lot of work. Was not able to rest and sleep due to all the loud noise from outside, the door to our room was not sealed properly either.

This hotel is very rundown. Lots of homeless and prostitutes in the area.not necessarily the hotel’s fault, but it’s pretty sketchy to have to be asked for money from panhandlers several times a day. Next time I book, I’ll definitely pick another place.

When we check you out (11 a.m.) your deposit is automatically released and an email of your receipt is sent. Thank you for staying with us.

When we pulled up to the hotel, we were honestly scared. The parking lot has lights, but it still felt very unsafe and exposed. The parking lot, elevator and the aisles in front of the hotel doors were all really gross and scary (the aisles in front of the hotel doors are old fake grass!) Inside the hotel room there was barely any space between the bed and the door and you had to squeeze your body to get between the desk and the bed just to go to the bathroom. This was all extra inconvenient since my baby’s stroller could barely even fit!!! But at least the room was clean, I’ll give them that.

The location is nice its in the row and close to everything. The building is old and dirty. Our room smell smoke and the floor is very sticky and dirty and when I wiped the floor with the kleenex the tissues are very black with dirt! its really gross ! so I went in the front desk and let her know, she immediately transferred me to different room. The breakfast is cheap looking muffin and granola bar that I threw away, even the coffee taste awful.

Property was old and in the renovation process. The room itself was fairly nice except it was over run with cockroaches. I checked out and requested an immediate reservation cancellation and refund.

Room was not renovated. Reeked of years of smoke. Window was broken and would not close. Outdoor carpet was old. Clearly lipstick on a pig. Will never return.

Next to the ROW!!
Excellent location, without additional resort fees right next to the ROW!! We will stay again the room was modern and close to the road so a bit noisy in the day but very inexpensive and the ice machine is in the office the staff was very friendly and professional

The location is actually just an older motel that has been remodeled with a little paint here and there to try and dress it up. But as the saying goes: "You cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear."

Sketchy hotel in Reno
Hotel was dilapidated, sketchy, dirty, and not easy to get to room with luggage. Breakfast was anything but. Think more hostess pastries and oj with coffee. Not sure why they advertise breakfast at all. Rooms were dingy and busted. Heater didn’t work. Garbage cans just left on the balconies full of booze containers and stinky food boxes. Parking lot was sketchy with cars idol and looking like drug deals going down. People living on the streets living under the parking lot awnings storing all their stuff in crevasses around the property. Elevator sign falling apart didn’t trust getting in it.

I felt so unsafe. There was 2 police frisking a man, and at the same time 4th floor patrons were screaming about raping children. I took my preteen son and found a new place to stay. We did not stay there.

One of my criteria to select a place to stay was its offering of breakfast. It was the first time I learned about "grab and go" breakfast. It was not what we were looking for.

Doesn’t look nothing like the picture. The place is a dump Stayed about six hours checked out with somewhere else! The employees working at the place. We’re very nice. That was the only good thing about the place. I booked through Expedia, so I probably won’t get a refund, but that was OK. I just wanted to get out of there!

The property is not at all like it shows in the pictures ..We were moved to 3 different rooms because the heater wasn’t working.. the smell in the rooms was horrible. Definitely pay a little bit more, the staff was effective to solve the problem. The property is located in Reno Downtown, not a good area.

The linens were clean and fresh, almost like they were new. The room was cleaned and linens changed after the third day. Breakfast was very slight, juice, coffee, packaged roll. There are obvious good attempts to remodel the property. Elevator did not function at the time of our stay. There was good lighting adding to security needed in that area of town.

Cheap, no frills
The rooms were clean and adequate for a 1 nite stay while passing through town. But the used condoms on the stairwell were a real turn off. Also homeless people hanging out.

This property is loud and not very well put together, bad renovations, found food crumbs on the bed and woke up though the night to find roaches on the bedside table, if I had another option at that point I would have left, I was made to sign a no smoking and pets agreement, however had a neighbor who's dog barked most of the night, as for the front desk staff they did great even through issues with pos and cleaning staff issues.
