Amazing host and an amazing space to stay in. My partner and I resided here for 3 nights and had a great time. Iro was friendly and provided plenty of information and resources on the area to check out and eat at. Would highly recommend!

Clean and quiet place to rest in Old Town Rethymno

Whenever visiting Rethymno, we stay here (several times already). It's on the north edge of the old town, right across the road from the municipal parking lot, which is good when you have a lot of luggage. The host (Iro) is very friendly and helpful, and it's very quiet inside. All the comforts are there like wifi and air conditioning. Highly recommended.

Iro is an excellent host. She’s very friendly, helpful and gave us a lot of information about the area. Our room was beautifully decorated with wonderful stonework. The kitchenette had everything you would need. The bed was comfortable and the towels were soft and high quality. There were several communal and garden areas to rest and relax in outside our room as well. Great location. This is a perfect place to stay.

Nice place to stay in Old Town Rethymno

A great location on the northeast edge of the old town and very close to (paid) parking lot. It's clean, quiet and convenient to everything in old town. This time we stayed on the ground floor which you might prefer if you have trouble climbing stairs.

Lovely family property with beautiful communal area including a lovely garden. Family live on site and are available daily to support guests. The property is well maintained and rooms are regularly cleaned and linen/towels changed. The property is well located and just minutes walk from both the old town and Venetian harbour. The family are super friendly and helpful.

Staying at Barbara Studios was like staying with family. Hint: Barbara and her husband live in the front and their daughter Iro is taking care of the guests. Our room was gorgeous and cozy. There are small little details everywhere and you can see and feel the love they put into it. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back for sure <3

This hotel is fantastic! The location is perfect for walking around the old town. As always in these ancient towns, parking can be sporting. However, here, simply drop your bags nearby or at the hotel and look for a place. We found a free parking space quite easily and it was a very busy day. Just drive around the fortress. Our room was perfect. Clean and a great shower. The owners are lovely. Restaurants nearby have the best of Cretan cooking. Highly recommend.

Quiet, comfortable stay in Old Town Rethymno

We have stayed here before and it's a quiet, clean and very convenient place to visit old town Rethymno. The location is on the edge of the pedestrian-only zone, and close to the (paid) parking lot at the port. There is good Internet and air conditioning, and a kitchenette too. Our host Iro is very friendly, accessible and responsive to any problems. Our room this time was up two long flights of stairs (and a steep staircase to the loft bedroom). So if you have trouble climbing, you may want to book one on the ground floor :) We'll definitely stay here again!

Emplacement idéal à Rethymno

Accueil extra chaleureux par Iro, qui tient cette affaire de famille. Personnalité riche, dans cet immeuble ancien plein de charme, très bien situé près de tous les lieux intéressants de Rethymno, dans un secteur calme derrière un très bon restaurant. Notre chambre en rez-de-chaussée était calme et fonctionnelle. Nous avons apprécié l’eau chaude et la pression suffisante de l’eau, les petites attentions et toutes les informations mises à disposition. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Le roof top avec une vue imprenable sur la ville, un plus très appréciable.

Warmherziger Empfang und tolle persönliche Betreuung durch Gastgeberin während des gesamten Aufenthalts. Das Gebäude ist sehr alt und hat ein tolles Flair mit lauschigen Ecken, in denen man gemütlich sitzen kann. Einrichtung des Studios modern und Studio sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Toller Blick von der Dachterrasse über die Stadt. Wir sind sicher, dass wir wieder kommen.
