"What a charming hotel. There were many little touches that showed that someone really cares. We came in later at night and didn’t want to go out in the rain for any dinner. We were wonderfully surprised that there was yogurt, cereal and milk down in the breakfast room. There were bags of chips and that was our dinner. The breakfast was very simple and well thought out."

"Charming well run inn. Staff was wonderful and everything we had from Champneys was delicious. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. My only small "complaint" is that the dining room was overly bright. Putting some of the lights on dimmers would make the entire experience nicer and more cozy, Bar area was perfect and they make good drinks too!"

"This is a very well kept property walkable to everything you want to see in Shelburne. Unfortunately we arrived on Labor Day and everything (I mean everything) in town shut down at 5:00. We had to drive 20 minutes outside of town to find an open restaurant. No negatives to the property, just timing."
