"The room was very clean and spacious. The staff were very welcoming on arrival and provided us with some milk. The parking was plentiful and we were able to park the car in view of them room. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The view from the room was stunning and the bed very comfortable. "

"This was a great place to stop overnight on way north. Easy to find, easy parking, retro but very clean and functional space with everything needed. Really appreciated the little deck area with table and chairs as it was a nice night to dine outside. Close to main road but fenced and with door shut for the night no road noise really. We would stay again when passing through. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming motel. The rooms were very comfortable - especially with the AC unit working overtime after a hot day on the water. The managers and staff are so kind and accommodating. They helped us extend our stay last minute and even offered to drive us to our heli-tour when a weather delay meant we missed our original ride! Do yourself a favor and stay here a night or three when in Turangi. 10/10 5-stars"

"Great helpful staff, nice and cozy unit. Plenty of blankets and heaters, kitchen had loads of cooking tools and dishes. Right on the lake! Restaurants nearby in Taupō were plentiful and grocery nearby made it convenient to shop for cooking in, too. Would totally come back!"
