โExcellent! Ample free parking, friendly staff, nice breakfast with options. Stayed in the four poster room which was brilliant!
Right in the middle of town, walking distance from castle (a minute or two) and train station (10 minutes).
Would stay there again!โ

โStaff were helpful and friendly but property is very tired. Paint is peeling in bathrooms and bedroom, and the room smelt slightly damp. There were no electric sockets near headboard, we needed an extension cable running across the room. Corridor was in severe need of vaccuming. The property needs redecorating and deep cleaning.โ

โDebra and Drew were very welcoming hosts.
We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice.
The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean.
We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch.

โReally enjoyed our overnight stay. The twin room was spacious, beds and pillows so comfortable, and plenty of hot water for showers. The initial problem with the heating was sorted out very quickly. We had our evening meal here, and can highly recommend the food. What really stands out at The Carpenters Arms, is the staff. Many thanks to Richard, Holly and Paula and to everyone that helps make this such a great place. We would certainly be happy to stay again.

โThe manager was lovely and showed us around the room and let us know any key things we needed to know. The room was absolutely lovely, proper cosy country vibes and loved the special touch of a large bottle of sparkling and still water and cookies in our room. Would highly recommend as place to stay! โ

โShort business trip so was just looking for a cheap place to stay. Single room with all the essentials in a modern block of conference centre type rooms. The main building though is an old country house and is beautiful and used as a wedding venue. Breakfast included was very good. Would have liked to have stayed longer so I could look around the estate.โ

โVery nice hotel to stay in Tunbridge Wells. Close enough to the centre so that you don't need your car. The hotel and our room were very clean. There is a public car park very close to the hotel so it's easy to park even though you can't really do do at the hotel. โ

โThis quaint, Grade 2 Listed building housing the bar and reception desk has excellent, family staff. The guest rooms are modern in design, clean & spacious. My son and I enjoyed looking around the village and ate at one of the various resturaunt's located nearby. Nice and quiet overnight, We left this morning to drop off my son at Gatwick Airport (30 minutes drive) avoiding the risk of him missing his flight. (We would have had to use the M25 if we drove from our home)โ

โThe Tickled Trout โ West Farleighโs Warmest Secret
Tucked gently into the rolling green of West Farleigh, The Tickled Trout feels less like a pub and more like a love letter to quintessential Britain. It sits there quietly - cosey, warm, and impossibly inviting - as though the countryside itself decided to give you a hug.
Step inside and youโre met not by staff,
but by hosts, bright-eyed and brilliantly friendly, the kind of people who make you feel as though youโve lived here your whole...
