"Clean rooms in a building that was a pub. Lots of stairs to get to rooms. Welcoming staff. Building is old and a bit neglected but rooms good. Amusing signage on the ground floor with 'alternate' spelling. Loved the big historical photos evoking nostalgia. Suited my needs."

"I was in town for a function so really only required there need which was very comfortable. The room was very clean but tried. The batteries in three remote were flat and a light wear not functioning. Good budget motel.. Which would appreciate a little bit of love."

"I was travelling with my elderly parents and had to phone the motel in advance a few times to ask questions and the lady I spoke to was so accommodating and she was so patient and friendly. The room was spacious and clean, plenty of parking and on leaving, the owner stopped by as we were getting ready to leave and asked whether everything was to our liking. Its nice when motel owners show a friendly face and care about your stay, as opposed to another motel elsewhere where there wasn't anyone at reception ever and you had to phone them for instructions. We loved our stay and would book with Acacia Motel again."
