"Beautiful hotel with pool, included breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. I would liked to have stayed longer. Key issue though, it is in a remote location so you absolutely need to arrange transportation to and from with hotel. We did not do this and paid price. We rented a car but had to return it an hour away. And train stops and taxis need to be coordinated. Whew. "

"We had a truly lovely time at Shalai. They came recommended by friends who stayed earlier in summer. The hospitality was amazing. Marta and her team were so helpful. We loved their dining recommendation and the resort itself was so well maintained and comfortable. Amazing breakfast and we used the Spa features and treatments as a special treat and we are so glad we did.Not something we normally indulge in but it was a special occasion and was well worth it- great value.
