โAs a budget hotel, it was excellent. Everything was provided in the room what was needed for an overnight stay. Beds were so comfy and room was set out really nice. Couldnโt fault anything at all. Dining room/ reception area was ideal and breakfast was excellent.โ
โFirst: no elevator to the 1st landing. Difficult with major luggage. I specifically stayed here because it advertised as โself parkingโ and then I had to pay. Simon, the front desk receptionist was most helpful and kind. The restaurant was good and convenient and the wait staff was fabulous.โ
โThe whole atmosphere was wonderful. The rooms were lovely and the most comfortable bed and nights sleep. Breakfast was nice, I highly recommend The Toby Royal!โ

โI am very disapointed Hotels.com, how do you recoment such hotel as 4 star hotel? Hotel room was very dirty and smelly. That was my worst memory in my life...โ
โFood was excellent, breakfast plentiful and tasty, evening meals were very good.
Bathroom we were in was a little cramped and the floor tiles were cracked and broken.
Overall the whole stay was very pleasant , the staff were very friendly without being overly so.
Would definitely go back if we were in the area.โ

โWhat a little Gem this place is. Immaculately clean. Beautiful room, with everything you need. Easy check in. Communication was great. Was even given a txt an hour before our check in time to say room was ready. We will definitely be back!โ
โAccomodation was perfect for us as we were travelling with our small dog. Excellent selection of coffee and teas in the room.
Staff were all really helpful and friendly. We had our evening meal in the hotel, whih was excellent, as was our breakfast the following morning.
Lovely town to stay in with plenty of pubs restaurants and bars.

Only negative. No air conditioning, but we asked for a fan and we were given a large fan on a stand, which was sufficient.
