“Convenient location. 10 minute walk into the city centre, Corn Exchange, Arndale Centre etc 20 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly. Very quiet room despite facing a very busy road.”

“Perfect location for Coop live . Very clean through out ,comfortable room ,slept amazingly well. Well equipped with mini bar and snacks.coffee machine, kettle ,hairdryer and clothes steamer. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. Staff welcoming and helpful. Shame we never got chance to use the gym as we were only there for 1 night after seeing The Strokes and coop live . We would definitely stay here again.”

“Dear Management / Guest Relations Team, I am writing to formally log a serious complaint and request a full refund regarding my two-night stay in Room 624 at the Hampton by Hilton Rochdale (October 15 to October 17, 2026). I paid a total of £163 for the room, plus additional parking charges of £5 per day. Having completed 12 days of hard work, I booked this stay specifically looking for a peaceful environment to rest and sleep. Instead, the accommodation and service experienced fell...

“Room was clean. Plenty of space, living area, bathroom and kitchen appliances (washer and Stove). Staff were very helpful, polite and assisted with luggage on arrival. Given directions to public parking lot just around the corner, with entrance from the rear of the pub also providing access to the parking lot. (Pay and display). Lot clears out after school day ends, and first hour free, no charge 6pm to 8am, the first hour free the next day. Had supper at the venue, good food, basic menu....

“Staff were wonderful”

“This was an amazing stay with wonderful staff and good ambience. Young people or under 50s will really enjoy it. I was not able to maximise my enjoyment because there was no kettle for tea or coffee in the room. Though there is complimentary unlimited drinks in the foyer. You have to come down from your room. That's a No no in my sixties... otherwise I would be back ten times and over”

“A welcomed change to your typical hotel stay. Will be back.”

“The staff was amazing Really impressed with the room and how big it was I came with my friends Very clean I would definitely stay there again”

“Great stay the hotel has an excellent atmosphere. Staff weee extremely helpful and always happy to assist where they could. Food in the restaurant at night was superb as was the full emglybreakfast. Rooms are small but functional but clean and all that you need. Bed was comfortable shower was great.”

“Room was very clean. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Food in the restaurant was delicious. My only criticism would be that there was only a small desk top fan. And in the middle of a heatwave the room was ridiculously hot.”

“I am very disapointed Hotels.com, how do you recoment such hotel as 4 star hotel? Hotel room was very dirty and smelly. That was my worst memory in my life...”

“Really enjoyed our stay”

“This is the third time I stayed at the Smokies Park hotel. I enjoyed the quiet surroundings and friendly services in particular. Without a doubt, breakfast and dining is superb. Only thing they could improve is the shower tab. Not enough water pressure in the morning.”

“Friendly staff. Good food and bar service. Did not use pool and gym services. What was not up to par was condition of property. Black mold and a leak in corner of lounge area. Room very strange door on bathroom and worn furnishings.”

“The location was amazing and everything you need was a walking distance.”
