“When we arrived Lisa was there to greet us with a smile and treated us so well, she walked us around the lodge and told us about the history of the building. It was so clean and the views were amazing. Very nice breakfast in the morning and there was a fridge to keep our meals in as well. The homemade banana bread was delicious made by Lisa of course ☺️ I highly recommend staying at this lodge, clean rooms very welcoming and a feeling of home away from home. Thank you again Lisa for making us...

“Our hostess was a friendly and informative person who gave great tips about the area’s attractions. She’s an amazing chef as well. Simon, the parrot, is a fine cohost who will welcome you and make some clever comments. I would recommend staying here.”

“It was a great place to stay, walking distance to the town. The only reason I have a 4 star is that the toilet had a deep clog. The maintenance personnel where there in a timely fashion and corrected it after awhile, they needed to use a heavy duty snake to unclog. This was a minor inconvenience.”

“This property was lovely from the outside, and the house manager was very nice and helpful. The interior was very dated, and not super comfortable or functional. It was quite expensive, all of these things considered. It could be nice if you’re looking for a very rustic experience and don’t care much about location or luxury. It was not at all what we expected.”
