If you’re American and you’re accustomed to large rooms, you need to put your expectations down a little bit because the rooms are traditionally small. There are no washcloths in the bathroom like in the US so bring a sponge for your showers, but that’s most of the hotels in Rome. The staff extremely friendly and they do speak English and Spanish.. The breakfast buffet is pretty much croissants, bakery items and hard-boiled eggs and some cereal and oatmeal but apart from that that’s pretty much what you get for what you pay. There is a local grocery store and two restaurants and McDonald’s but the menu at McDonald’s is completely different apart from the cheeseburger and a big Mac mostly everything is different but you should like something there .. the restaurants are across the street, including a Chinese Japanese restaurant which has all you can eat and the Italian restaurant has pretty good pizzas and burgers served with egg lol. Sounds weird, but it is pretty good. The grocery store has pretty much anything you could need if you want to purchase toiletries get a salad, a snack pizza or anything you can think of ..I think the thing that compliments this hotel is the cats and dogs that run around extremely friendly so don’t worry they’re practically mascots. lol.a Uber or taxi will cost you about $65 one way from the airport. If you’re staying a day before for your cruise this place is not that far from the cruise port about 31 min.taxi $115.train-8$.uber to train $20-40

The hotel was very informative and gave very clear instructions as to how to get from the Rome airport to their hotel. There is a reasonable fee for their shuttle which arrived in 15 minutes from the time I called and the driver/owner kept up a friendly and informative conversation all the way. The hotel has been recently renovated with an elevator and the rooms have a comfortable bed, small fridge, safe, telephone and modern bathroom. They have a small bar and offer a delicious buffet breakfast. It is in a small town between Rome and Civitavecchia, close to a train station that is about 5 stops from the port or they can give you a ride to Civitavecchia. The immediate area has a grocery store, 2 Italian restaurants, a Chinese bar and restaurant and a McDonalds. If you are tired of the hassle of getting from a Rome hotel to the port for your cruise I would highly recommend it.

The hotel and staff was nice, however a couple things the tile in the bathroom had a bit of mold could use more cleanliness. I had also booked this hotel because it was close to the airport and thought it would be convenient. It was not, the transportation was ridiculously expensive. There are some hotels closer to the airport.

This hotel and staff are WONDERFUL! They offer a good shuttle service that is prompt and reliable. The breakfast spread is fresh and really enjoyable. It is located a little more outside of the city, therefore you will need to get the train to go into Rome City Center.
