Showed up at 8 am to ask about an early check in and young lady that had a hard time understanding said to come back at 10. We thought that was great so we waited. 10:00 came, two men were inside cleaning. They said we can take luggage and come back in two hours. We left, husband got sick so we decided to stay close by instead of on side of road with luggage. 11:15 guy comes out and gives us thumbs up. We went to open door and it was locked. Luggage was inside with husbands medication. Older woman called me up yelling saying how rude o was trying to get in early. I couldn’t even explain myself because she wouldn’t keep quiet. Finally got in, noise is awful there. Could hear everything outside, there were big rats outside. Only had a washer no dryer. They were upset and said they couldn’t take luggage even though the guys did and they were great. Went to new hotel on Wednesday in Sorrento. The staff there were great and accommodating nothing like how we were treated. I will never go back. Lack of service so you’re basically on your own. Better places to stay. The two men and young girl were very nice and we apologized for any misunderstanding. There was definitely lack of communication between staff and us and also language barrier Also had phone issues with messages and there were delays. That woman could of handled it more professionally and grown up.
