Perfect spot for a quick Rome trip. The room was beautiful with high ceilings, the staff were very friendly and helpful with luggage staying after check-out and the location is right in the middle of everything. Perfect!

First of all the entrance is daunting. Everything is by keypad. As a 71 year old once we entered through the old door from the street using the key pad we found ourselves having to carry the luggage up a extra long flight of stairs to get to the rickety old elevator to take us to the fifth floor. Had I known this was a requirement I would not have booked it. This is Definitely accommodation for a much younger traveller. As for the room it was nice, location is great and is well kept. I would recommend the place and increase my stars to 4 but only for the 50 or younger. For the older traveller it can be considered but you need to be somewhat in shape.

Room was in a great location! Walking distance from Trevi fountain. Elevator made it easy to go to the 5th floor. Room was huge with high ceilings and a great shower. Will stay again when visiting Rome.

Domus 21 was a great combination of modern amenities with old world feel. The historic feel of the property from the street to the entry way is carried over into the room with an excellent fresco on the ceiling along with Roman inspired decorations. While modern feeling with concrete and clean lines, it still feels respectful to the past: the shower feel akin to your own personal Roman bath and the view out the window transports you to another time entirely. I would definitely return to this property the next time my travels bring me to Rome.

Overall our stay was alright but we travel often and stay at great places and I wouldn’t call Domus 21 “luxury” if you’re looking for extremely nice accommodations. The positives: Great location, walkable to many tourist sites and tons of shopping and food. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water! Very bright lighting in room. Negatives: Hard to find where to check in- they emailed instructions but it wasn’t marked well with signage in the lobby and the email came the day of check in so many probably do not see the email if traveling. Old and scary elevator lol. Had to separate our party and bags to not put too much weight in it and it stuck once and I was trapped inside but luckily was able to go up a floor again and back down and the doors unlocked that time. Also- you have one staircase to get to the elevator so be prepared to lift your bags up those stairs. Staff is on hand very, very limited hours and was not very welcoming- it is more like an air bnb than a hotel that is staffed. No one around to ask questions etc. For the price and being told the water soda coffee and snacks were complimentary then to he charged 13 euro for two extra nespresso pods and two waters was ridiculous… luxury accommodations include these simple items and we were not told requesting a couple extra would incur a charge until the end. Big deal? No… just not welcoming, and not “luxury”. Room had limited storage for belongings no where to hide luggage… and could be in better condition.

Love this hotel!!! Awesome location, very nice inside, beds are super comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful! It also has a lift, which is great when u don’t pack light:-) They do not 24 reception so if you are arriving early or late you will just need to make arrangements.
