Domus Australia, was perfect for 3 people. The room was great. The breakfast was tasty, fruit, pancakes, juice, eggs, baked beans. Close bus stop to get the bus to the tourist sites. Would definitely stay here again!

Domus Australia Hotel: a must!

A spectacular hotel, apparently a former seminary converted into a sort of boutique hotel. Special attention, promptness, and comfort. The waitress who made our room—a Cuban girl—was sweet and very helpful. The hotel is superbly located and attentive. 2 blocks away, don't miss Luigi's restaurant, Ristorante Pizzeria Andrea. Thank me later!

We walked here from the train station and used the buses—very doable. The breakfast was good. It is upstairs in a covered pavilion. The shower stall was not very clean…mold. The temperature in the rooms were set a little warmer than we would have liked. It is controlled centrally so it can’t be changed. The staff—the women in the morning were friendly, but the man at night was rude and unfriendly. He scowled, did not greet us, and answered our questions brusquely. He is the reason this is a 3 instead of a 4.

Highly recommend and would stay there again!

Was so pleased we booked to stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful. The hotel was in a convenient location to visit a lot of the sights of Rome & very near to the train station. The breakfast was good and the room and hotel itself looked beautiful. Plus it was a very competitive price. Would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Close to train station and walking distance to Trevi and Coliseum but not many tourists around. Nice, clean, and modern. Plus a chapel in premises, perfect for Catholics :-)

Close walk to the train station

The location to the Roma termini is about 10 minutes walk. Clean and modern facility. Good breakfast with lots of hot and cold choices. Spacious room and bathroom. Good service with storing luggages. The only thing was early check out @ 10:30 am. But overall will stay here again.

Great location!

Great location as it is walkable to many historical and shopping sites. The rooms are spacious but not cool. The beds were very firm. Short walk to train the train terminal and several nice restaurants. I would go back.

Great place to stay in Rome when visiting for a few days. It is still within walkable distance to some landmarks. The breakfast is included and it is really good except for the coffee. We really enjoyed rooftop restaurant and the courtyard. Termini station is about 10 min walking, Fontana di Trevi 30 min walking distance.

The stay was phenomenal, for me and my family (family of 5). Everything was absolutely perfect, from the morning breakfast ( shoutout to Ervin, he was great!) to front desk staff (super accommodating & they took care of us). Thank you for all your help in making this stay comfortable. Everything was nearby and very much walkable. I highly recommend!

A GEM of a hotel

Loved this hotel - Perfect location - walking distance to all sights. Staff was excellent- room was perfect! I just wish I could have enjoyed dinner there. I was there on Sunday and the restaurant was closed, but plenty of options in the neighborhood. I walked from Roma Termini. Breakfast was delish and plentiful. I will come back!

This is an older property that is managed by the Diocese of Australia. It once was a Monastery. With that said it really is lovely and peaceful. Even though its right in the middle of Rome! They have a delicious breakfast buffet with many options and its included in the daily room rate. The rooms are small but clean!! Laura at the front desk was wonderful! She had taxi's for us in minutes. She also communicated well with me before we arrived so i knew what to expect. They do not have a shuttle from the airport but she arranged a driver for us and the price was standard $65 Euros. The chapel within the hotel is amazingly beautiful and Mass is held at 6pm nightly. I really enjoyed staying here and would not hesitate to stay again in the future!!

I spent one night at the Domus Australia before travelling back from Fumicino. I wanted a hotel near Termini but on a nice area. It was a short walk to Termini, I felt safe, the place was perfect for a night stay. Check 2pm: the lady in reception was very nice, I was early so they let me leave the bags and go to the City and when I came back my bags were already in my room. Breakfast: from 7am and what a display! Great selection of foods and drinks. They gave me a bag with bits for the breakfast and a bottle of water as I had to leave early. Helpful staff. Room: I had a very large bed even though I travelled solo because I booked an offer with Expedia and for under £90 it was great price for value. Yes the bed make a noise and the room is a bit old but super clean with plenty of towels, toiletries, tissues, kettle, complimentary coffee and teas and a mini bar ( to be paid for) . Cups are plastic and would loved this to be changed in the future but this didnt put me off from booking. I was on the second floor overlooking the street and some street noise but I used earplugs and slept so well. Perhaps you can ask for a room on the internal side. Temperature wise I didnt use the aircon but opened window on and off for fresh air. I liked the floor with tiles instead of carpet as seemed cleaner. May be cold in winter so bring sleepers! Surroundings: lovely internal garden with seats to relax, plus a Church ! Rebasico Restaurant : best in the area, Would recommend. Thank you!
