Amazing view

A beautiful location with a wonderful view. The room was large. Some improvements are needed but overall it was fine. The only problem was the breakfast which was not at the hotel level

צוות נחמד, מקום יפה. חדרים גדולים ומרווחים ויפים. המקום נקי ומסודר. היינו בקומה רביעית, נוף יפה אבל המקלחות עם לחץ מים משתנה וגם טמפרטורה משתנה תוך כדיי מקלחת כך שלא נוח להתקלח. יש אנטנות סלולאריות בגג מעל החדרים. בנוסף מבצעים את תחזוקת הבריכה בשעות היום כך שנאמר לנו שאסור להכנס במשך 3 שעות בשעות החום באמצע היום

Hotellet ligger med en fantastisk udsigt over byen Marino samt hele Roms opland. Vi havde et værelse på anden sal med en lille balkon, hvorfra vi kunne nyde hotellets smukke lille haveanlæg, de store smukke pinjetræer og en 180 graders udsigt over Roms omegn. Et fantastisk syn ved solnedgang og også, når lysene var tændt rundt omkring. Personalet var yderst imødekommende og servicemindede. Morgenmaden var efter italiensk standard helt ok. Det eneste minus var, at sengen kun var 190 cm lang, hvilket er et problem, hvis man er høj. Desuden var madrasserne ret hårde. Wifi ikke god på værelset. Vi havde et dejligt ophold og kan anbefale stedet. Vær dog klar over, at byen ligger ca 3 km væk fra hotellet, så det er ikke lige i gåafstand.

Pros: the hotel and grounds are beautiful, clean and very well-maintained with a rich history and old world charm, the views are spectacular, the staff is friendly and helpful, the location is quiet but for us very convenient to both downtown Rome and nearby towns that we wanted to visit. There is a train station (30 minute ride to Rome Termini), small convenient store/deli and an okay restaurant about mile from the hotel (if you don't have a car, you can have the front desk call a cab but be prepared to pay 30 Euro round trip) and the complimentary breakfast each morning was delicious. Breakfast included fresh fruits, juices, american coffee, espresso, tea, a variety of pastries (breakfast cakes, fruit tarts, croissants), fresh breads, turkey and cheese, variety of jams and biscotti and multiple cereal choices with milk. Cons: Although the beds had very nice linens and blankets with extras in the armoire, the beds are extremely hard. I prefer a firm bed and these were far too hard and firm for me. All 4 of us in our group had trouble sleeping the entire stay because of the beds. The laundry service was not available during our stay and even though there is a restaurant (which is elegant and beautiful and has amazing views), it didn't seem to be available for dinner service except on Valentines day. To be fair, we stayed in the off-season and that may be why, I suggest asking about it when reserving hotel if that is a priority.

Beautiful Views

Great property in Marino, Italy. If you stay here and want to visit Rome, I strongly recommend renting a car. The drive time into Rome is about an hour with traffic. You are better off if you have your own vehicle, getting a taxi to and from Rome will be expensive. The property is a bit outdated but you have to keep in mind that you are in Europe.

Luxurious maybe in 1930

Booked this as a nice last night with the family on holiday. Paid extra for it as it had a pool and restaurants. When I arrived I was told the restaurant would be closed all day. No reason why so I had to drive to find somewhere which wasn’t easy with 2 young children. When I got back I took my son to the pool which I was told was now just to look at and not for swimming in. Absolutely pointless. Hate giving a bad review but it was terrible!

Petite déjeuner très bas de gamme pour un soit disant quatre étoiles. Pas de piscine contrairement à ce qu’il y a d’ecrit Dans l’annonce, c’est un bassin . 10 minutes à pied de la gare sur une route sans trottoir. pour le prix et la qualité du service autant prendre un hôtel plus proche de Rome. Plus proche du 2 étoiles!
