Simple no frills hotel near train station

Simple hotel with no ammenities near main train station in Rome. Hotel doesn't reach out to you for check in instructions, so it's up to you to do it. Thank you to other reviewers, we knew it's actually Hotel Enrica (not Hotel Serendipity) that we look for on maps. Luckily they let us check in same day, and LOVE the early check in. Super convenient when traveling from one city to another and you have bags and are tired. Walls are thin and locals who live in building are quite loud at all hours of night. Not a place for extended stay, we just did one night, before flight out of Rome.

Great hotel.

This hotel is great! The rooms are very clean and cleaned daily, the bed was comfy, unfortunately the pillows were a little lumpy though. Staff were nice and helpful and the on the go breakfast was great. Location was good so long as you don't mind a little bit of walking. Main attractions were about a thirty minute walk. I will stay here again when I return in two weeks.

Rugby Weekend

Need to think about refurbishment and soundproofing between rooms. Screaming parents and kids in next room all day and night. Bouncing off walls did not help either. Would have used breakfast facilities but they were in another block. otherwise fine.

Lots of grafitti all around the property and a little scary from the outside but the room is ok

The room was as expected, clean and nice enough but the people were rude. They did not send any information or confirmation. it took almost a half hour to get the information on checking in from VRBO. VRBO said they should have sent it and the people on check in said VRBO should have sent it. I was billed 2 times and had to argue with then to get my money back for the duplicate charge as they insisted that VRBO did not charge me. I showed them the billing charge on my phone and then they gave it back to me the next day. If the people were nicer I would have given it a better score.

Close subway station and nice restaurants

The entrance is a small village and doesn't look well, and is a little complicated to understand and find where is the reception. But the is close all facilities, and bedrooms are clean and comfortable.

Great Location to the Termini station Line A & B

It was difficult to find the B&B as Serendipity hotel is under the name of Hotel Enrica. The bathroom mat was drenched and wet as we walked in to the washroom. Hotel was clean and quite at night. Good price and location. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great location, walking distance to most areas.

The roof top terrace view is amazing. Near the bridge lined with shops, another great view. Can't say anything negative about the place.

Italian Experience

Husband and I stayed here for one night, we needed to be close to Termini and this hotel has a great location! Lots of good restaurants in the area. The hotel itself felt as if I was living like the locals, I enjoyed watching people in their balconies just doing normal stuff like reading or drying their clothes! The staff is nice, it seems as if this is also a residential building and they have some rooms rented as hotel. The bathroom was clean and the room was big compare to other hotels in the area.

This hotel reminded me of where hookers go to do their business. It was just seedy, the walls were filthy with skid marks? And other markings. Nothing special about it at all, including the location.

Convinient and Affordable

I booked this hotel for my last night in Rome coming back from a cruise, needed to stay close to Roma Termini. The price and location were the key factors for me booking. I got what I paid for, can't complain much, the bathroom was big and clean it smelled good and I loved the Italian feel of the entire building. Very European.

Good location, friendly staff, great value.

Our stay was perfect and the hotel/facilities were exactly as described on the web site. Staff is super friendly and helpful. It's possible to leave the luggage in the reception on the checkout day free of charge. There is a small street market close by and plenty cheap places to grab something to bite closer to the Termini station plus a few restaurants. There is a very good old-fashioned ice cream place open till late not very far. We did not stay in the main hotel building but in the one next door which has a very interesting, old-fashioned lift. Even though the location suited us perfectly it may not be to everyone's liking so check before booking. It is about 30-40 minute walk from the old town attractions. It's not a negative comment though just a note, really. Also, it's very close to the Termini station so that's definitely a big plus if you travel by train or plan any day trips. The only thing that could be improved in my opinion is breakfast. It was not great and it consisted of coffee, croissant and juice. However, this is what is normally served in most hotels so it was to be expected. Again, not a negative comment as it was included in price so no complaints here. And it's always good to start a day with a bite. The eating area is not very big but there is a garden available which is nice. Definitely a place to visit again.

Nice clean hotel

Little difficulty finding the hotel as its incorporated in another but what a little gem. Clean spacious room with en-suite Breakfast was a bit chaotic but we grabbed a tray with juice, a pastry and coffee and took it back to our room, Close to the Termini but not too close to hear the noise.

Serendipity

Slightly difficult to locate as it operates under another hotel - Enrica. The Wifi was not working and was not investigated even though it was reported. Not sure how the hotel can manage to provide breakfast in the extremely small reception area. It was a basic room but for the price it was worth it. You do not go to Rome to stay all day in a hotel room so for a place to put your head down and have a wash it is fine.

Great for the price!

A bit of confusion when checking in as we were given instructions to go to one place, then told somewhere else upon arrival. No complaints though as we were closer to the train station than we expected. The guy a the front desk during the day was really nice and helpful. A lot of places are walkable from here, and the area wasnt too busy. The provided breakfast wasn't the best, so we only ate it once. Other than that the only complaint would be the water pressure came and went a bit.

good value and central for Rome tours

staff friendly and helpful We had great difficulty in getting into the hotel on arriving in the dark You need to say ring the outside gate on the very small name tab on the right You cannot see it inthe dark and there are about 10 names. We let in lots of guests in the following days.so a common problem.Everything in the room worked welland the fridge useful for keeping drinks and milk cool We would recomend it

Very nicely placed budget hotel

Easy to find. Asked for two single beds which were provided, with an inch between them and a set of double sheets and counterpane. Toilet was not secured to the floor. On the plus side, excellent shower facilities. TV and air con worked fine. Breakfast was in a tiny reception area (crowded at times) and I was prepared for the pastries and coffee. Staff were excellent and helpful. Excellent security in place. This is a budget hotel in the heart of a capital city so I was satisfied with the accommodation

Good sleep for a convenient price

Excellent location: walking distance from the main city's train, subway and bus station. Clean room with large bed, silent fridge, large TV, highly-efficient AC. Ancient elevator, but working well. Safety box not working, applied in vain for repairing. It's probably not necessary, as the rooms are safe themselves. The Wi-Fi stopped two times, and was fixed after we asked for this. So was the front door. If you are overweight, don't apply: you'll not make your way into the shower box. Overall, you have to be flexible: by local standards, you get a vey good resting place at night, but you have to work for this.

ホテル入り口のブザーにホテル名は記入されていないので初めは戸惑うと思いますが、テルミニ駅にも近くてホテル前には492番の路線が通るバス停があるので便利です。 492番は長距離バス停のあるティブルティーナ駅始発でバチカンへも行けます。

a volte piccole cose...

E' una buona sistemazione. In 5 minuti stai a termini ed in 20 minuti con la metro stai al centro! Però a volte piccole cose ovvero: l'armadio è un po' danneggiato (pende) Secondo me un falegname in 5 minuti lo rimetterebbe in sesto! Anzi non l'ho segnalato speriamo che non me lo addebitano. Poi la doccia, non tira: in 5 minuti togli l'ingorgo e non si rimane con i piedi in mezzo all'acqua. Il cavo doccia è rovinato: con 5 euro da brico lo compri ed alla fine: non puoi mettere gli sgabelli della SNAI dove si mangia!!! Già uno viene a Roma per scordare le slot ma con gli sgabelli della SNAI...TUTTO SOMMATO UNA BUONA STRUTTURA

Zonder vooraf bericht werden we naar een ander hotel verwezen, er waren problemen met het water. We hadden het idee dat het vol geboekt zat. Het andere hotel werd gewezen op de kaart en moesten verder zelf uitzoeken. Het andere hotel kwam troosteloos over.

Zonder vooraf een bericht werden we naar een ander hotel verwezen omdat er iets was met lekkage. Waarin we twijfelde, we hadden het idee dat het vol zat. Ze wezen het andere hotel aan op de kaart maar moesten zelf zoeken en dit hotel kwam troosteloos over.

テルミニ駅に近いホテル

駅に近いが、静かでとても良かった。シャワーのドアが壊れていて、知らせたらすぐに直しにきてくれました。朝食付き(パンと飲み物)、コーヒーはマシンで落としていてとても美味しかった。部屋は広くて清潔。ローマに出かけたらまた泊まりたい。

Ok, maar hek lijkt net gevangenis

De kamer was groot genoeg, maar wat ik het ergste vond was het hek rond het hotel, het was beter geweest als ze de gasten ook een sleutel gaven van de poort om binnen te komen, want s'avonds laat zie je geen steek als je de bel moet zoeken, er staat een grote boom voor en als je niet goed kunt zien in het donker dan weet je niet op welke van de tientallen knoppen je moet drukken, vreselijk, ik heb moeten schreeuwen of iemand de deur open wilde maken, maar niemand hoorde iets! Ik heb wel 15 tot 20 keer moeten bellen voordat de poort openging, voor mij nooit meer in dit hotel.

Einmal und nie wieder!!

Wir haben eine Zeit lang das Hotel gesucht, es ist von außen nichts oder nur ganz klein ersichtlich dass diese Wohnanlage ein Hotel sein soll. Von außen waren ein paar Klingeln und wir klingelten bei Serendipity. Wir kamen rein und es waren 3 Eingänge ersichtlich, schauten wieder am Klingelschild und klingelten bei Serendipity... Es gingen da gerade Leute rein, also gingen wir mit...Es war ein großes Haus mit vermutlich 5 oder 6 Stockwerken und wir suchten die Rezeption....im 4. Stock angekommen haben wir einen Mitarbeiter vom Hotel entdeckt, jedoch waren wir im falschen Haus.... wir mussten wieder runter und in den nächsten Eingang zur Rezeption. Einen Lift gab es einen aus Gitter für max. 2 Personen + Gepäck, aber es war sehr eng, genauso wie jede Tür und die Dusche! Der Check-In war ganz ok, mussten noch eine Ortstaxe (3,50 € pro Person+Nacht) zahlen und ein Mitarbeiter führte uns zu unserem Zimmer im 3. Eingang, im 3. Stock. Wir bekamen 4 Schlüssel! Das Zimmer war ganz in Ordnung, es war alles da was man brauchte. Bett war sehr weich, der TV funktionierte (kein einziger deutscher Sender) und die Klima funktionierte auch....bis am nächsten Tag die Putzfrau die Klima ausmachte und alles verstellt war. Wir hatten sogar einen kl. Kühlschrank und einen Safe dabei, jedoch konnte man diesen nicht bedienen. Wir haben Frühstück dazu gebucht, jedoch ist für mich ein Saft, ein Kaffee und ein trockenes Croissant kein Frühstück und so waren wir dort nur 1x frühstücken!

駅チカのコスパの良いホテル。

テルミニ駅近くのホテルで探していたところ、このホテルを見つけました。宿泊代金がお安かったのですが、お部屋の清潔さやスタッフの感じ良かったので、気に入ってます。朝食はりょうはふつう、味はまあまあでした。でも悪い印象はありませんでしたよ。

テルミニ駅に近くて便利

アパートメントタイプの客室で、６泊しました。シャワールームのドアが壊れていたが、すぐに直してくれた。シャワーの湯量もよく、朝食のパンもおいしかった。何といってもカフェオレがおいしく２杯も飲みました。Wi-Fiもよく繋がりました。

De staat van het hotel was niet erg goed. Gordijnen konden niet dicht, erg gehorige muren (en luidruchtige buren tot na middernacht). Ook de vloeren waren niet erg schoon. Locatie naast een drukke weg. Wel dichtbij het treinstation (minuut of 7 lopen). Erg karig ontbijt. Wel een leeg koelkastje op de kamer. Personeel was wel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, maar het was fijn geweest als ze beter Engels konden.

Esperienza da non ripetere

Cominciando dalla pretesa del pagamento della tassa di soggiorno al check-in, alle 2 dita di polvere sulla testata del letto, alle asciugamani macchiate e tutto il resto della camera sporca e maleodorante, alla scordata pulizia giornaliera, alla mancanza di acqua calda per circa 12 ore, al phon intermittente, concludo sconsigliando vivamente il soggiorno, veramente vergognoso.

Einfaches Hotel ohne jeglichen Komfort

Hotel sieht sehr gruselig aus von Außen. Hinterhof ist nicht beleuchtet. Zimmer dreckig, abgenutzt. Sehr einfach. Sehr hellhörig. Nicht wirklich zu empfehlen. Frühstück besteht aus einem Croissant einem Saft und einem warmen Getränk. Auf einem Tablett.
