“Great stay, friendly and helpful staff, would definitely stay again and would highly recommend”

“The staff at this hotel are charmingly Yorkshire and welcoming. A refreshing change from more 'corporate' but less personal treatment of guests. Born in West Yorkshire myself, I loved the chatty friendliness of the staff with their typically Yorkshire sense of humour that made my visit such a pleasure. I'll definitely return. The food was excellent, the rooms modern and immaculate. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that I could hear the people in the next room talking way into...

“The Pilsley Inn is the quintessential English country side experience. The room was thoughtfully appointed and way bigger than expected. Cozy bed, nice linens and thoughtful touches everywhere. The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night!”

“Great location, with lovely views over the surrounding moors. Excellent range of food and wines very reasonably priced. Bed room was spacious and spotless clean. Will return in the future for sure.”

“Generally poor room. Damp smells. Awful food. Not a great place to stay. I won’t go again…”

“Perfect in every way.”

“Room was clean and comfortable, although there was nowhere to hang coats/clothes (there was no hanging rail). The pedestrian route to the restaurant was a bit dark in places. Generally a good overall stay.”

“You guys dropped the ball The place was closed and has been for quite a while. I had to find a different motel after I arrived in Billings”

“Lovely place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, food excellent, a good variety of beers on tap with some from a local brewery. I thought the leaflet with suggested walks from the hotel was a good touch. Very convenient to get to a lot of places for walking in the Hope Valley. I would stay again.”
