"Nice clean hotel, good size standard king room, staff very friendly and informative, tea and coffee available in room with biscuits, Nespresso would have been better as offered by other hotels in the area. Good size desk for working on, with sockets and USB points close to hand. wifi had good signal and easy to connect to. No usb points or plug sockets near the bed though. Hair dryer, safe, iron and board also supplied in the room. Shower was powerful and hot with large head as well as smaller shower and soap/shampoo available. Evening meal was tasty with good portion and friendly, efficient service. Breakfast buffet was good with a wide selection of hot food and some pastries/muffins, great to have fresh baked croissants and pain au choc still warm, cereals, fruit etc with coffee machine. However, the food could have been hotter from the buffet. Parking available at reasonable price for the area £14 overnight, but spaces were quite small with not much room between cars, especially larger cars."

"Room was dated, toilet not flushing properly, leaking from the stack. Colleagues friendly and efficient. Nice walk on footpath to Clowne, and Greenway to Creswell."

"Hotel and room were clean- loved the shower! The only issue but I feel like this is at a lot of hotels was the temperature got too warm at night. Staff was so friendly. "

"We were allocated a room for a disabled person even though neither of us are disabled or had requested it. However we did appreciate the wet room rather than a bath with shower over. But, and a big but for any traveller, there was nowhere in the bathroom to place toiletries, razors, toothbrushes, deodorant, hairbrushes etc etc. All the things that are needed within reach of the sink. We ended up dragging the chair in the shower to the sink in order to have our toilet bags close without them being placed on the floor. A normal bathroom has a counter either side of the sink. Has no-one ever thought about where a disabled person would put their toiletries. If on the floor they would be out of reach for a wheelchair user. It would be nice if the manager could address this problem and write to me to explain their reasoning for this error. Otherwise the bed was comfy and other services satisfactory."

"The parking was problematic as some had parked a petrol car in the charging bay, which they did move on request. The room was cold as someone had left the window open. The room and hallway smelt of smoking and generally was very old. The bedding was clean and fresh and the bud was comfy. There was no hot water in the morning until I went to reception and asked about it and was told just run the water. The towel rail was broken with electric cable hanging off. The television had no signal, so could watch anything before I went to sleep. There is constant noise from the road but I guess that was to be expected. Breakfast was fine but slightly basic continental. Overall it wasn’t a good experience and I would have preferred to spend more and stay somewhere better. "

"We would highly recommend. Great spacious room and ensuite with double shower. Excellent amenities in the room. Very comfortable bed.safe and quiet. Easy parking."
