"My son wanted to experience the Korean traditional lodging while my husband needed a good bed and a quiet place. Ran Hanok satisfied us all with a room with a bed and a futon to enjoy the traditional heated floors. The guesthouse had everything else we needed as well - daily towel exchange, continental breakfast, basic amenities, etc. It is a 15 min walk to the historical sites and HwangLiDanGil (황리단길), which has tons of good restaurants and shopping, so you get all the fun but a quiet night away from the crowds. The owners were super nice and helpful as well, providing us directions and recommendations whenever we needed them. I highly recommend this lovely bed-and-breakfast style guesthouse if you want to try the traditional Korean lodging in Gyeongju. "

"I give this place 3 rating, out of 5, only for its room which is new with all necessary amenities. Other than that, I would not recommend this place to foreigners. It may be good for domestic travelers if they drive their private cars. This place is in a relatively remote area and takes taxi 10-12 minutes to get to the attraction area. The frustrating fact is that no taxi available nearby and I was fortunate to come across a nice young person at highway side who called taxi. The check-in was the same. I had to ask a neighbor to help call the host, then the host’ car arrived. In short, the uncertainty and helplessness dominated my day in Gyeongju due to this accommodation’s location and language barrier. "

The free breakfast and the photo reviews we checked was a big factor in choosing this facility. Facilities were extremely modern and new. Unit also comes with a mini clothes steamer for your business needs which was a surprise. Breakfast is definitely a wow factor with so much variety and alternative options each day. Service was great and definitely will be 5 star review and return pick if coming back to Gyeongju."
