“Rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable. Food at the pub was the best we had during 2 weeks in Wales. Staff was helpful, friendly, and very accomodating. Highly recommend this place as convient to the Cardiff airport and very comfortable.”

“This is the second time that I have stayed at the Dragon Inn. Generally it has been good. The only dissapointing thing for me is that breakfast does not start until 8am, which for a work trip is getting a little too late. Also, the cooked breakfast is now an optional extra, whereas in 2024 it was included. The entrance to the car park is dreadful.”

“This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. “We used the hotel as a base to tour Barry island and go to a concert in Cardiff. Staff were excellent and very helpful. It was the hottest week of the year so far and the inside rooms were roasting. Perfect spot to tour Barry and surrounding area, 5mins walk down hill from a Wetherspoons and centre. Hotel was good value for what we paid. Bar was open till 1am but quiet”
