"Very nice hotel. The ambiance from the inside is excellent. You think you are in a small.castle. wood, lights and chimney everywhere. Rooms are nice, spacious and clean. Breakfast is fine, not too many choices but is above the average of what you will expect. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Just a walking distance from the grande place.

"Firstly, first time we walked in the place the staff was very accommodating. Greeted us in French and made effort to speak in English. He explained the necessary things about free breakfast. Place was clean and modern. When we finally got to the room it was super nice! What we expected staying at a European hotel.i can’t say anything negative with our stay there for a week. Wife and I were Very satisfied. The breakfast experience is self serve, but the food was great European experience, must try their croissant. Last, even during the check out someone was still available very early around 3Am I a morning since we had to catch flight early. "
"We arrived for a 4 night stay about lunch time and the reception staff were very helpful and found our room was ready. Room was on 5th floor with 3 lifts and fresh water dispenser on each floor, also a microwave - though we didn't use this.

10/10 Excellent
"Really enjoy the bar! Very warm and comfortable, good food and drinks.
The only complaint is they did away with the music (Gregorian chant?) in the room and hallways. Always enjoyed it, very relaxing. "
"Very nice hotel,in a great location, very close to metro, tram stations. The main shopping street is 1 minute away. The Grand Place 10 min walk. I noticed a bit of wear and tear in the hotel but to me it just added to the charm. The staff was helpful. I prefer Old World charm to faceless modern style hotels. So this hotel was perfect to my taste. It was also nicely decorated to Christmas getting guests in festive mood.
One thing did not stand out: prior to my arrival I emailed hotel and asked to arrange an airport transfer. To which the staffer replied that they can arrange a luxury car for 114 euro. The next option the staffer offered is public transport. I do not need luxury car nor do I want to drag huge suitcase on the train, so I just took a taxi for 50 euro. While staying there I learned that hotel could have arranged much cheaper pick up using company Autolux. The staff actually called this service for me twice while I was in Brussels, including airport transfer for 42 euro when I was leaving. This is my only complain. Perhaps, the staffer gets a little something from this "luxury" transfers. Not cool. Other than that I definitely recommend this hotel! "
