"I had a lovely stay at the Hope Anchor. The hotel is in a good spot, in a quiet but central location with a nice view over the town and countryside. The room was a good size with a good view outside. It’s a historic hotel, which adds to the atmosphere. The bathroom was large and modern. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. I had a lovely short stay there in Rye."

"Really lovely and friendly staff at the desk and restaurant . The night guard was also friendly and helpful . Great views of the river and town . We stayed one night which was a birthday and did enjoy the time . Breakfast was good and free parking too . Will visit again . Thank you Ladies 💜"

"Great location right in the centre of Rye and the staff were helpful. The room was bright and well cleaned. Enjoyed the breakfast. Would have been nice to get a bit more ventilation as the weather was so hot. Also the WI-FI was rather unreliable, working at first and then stopping. Overall, a good experience and would recommend."
