Original old house. Nice owner/manager. Home made breakfast. Very clean bed sheets and towels. Very nice views of the old town. Do not expect big washrooms and hotel like beds and amenities.

One day get away

We wanted to go live in this quaint place away from tbe tourist hustle bustle. It was great for this. We did a 2 day trip from Istanbul. The room was tiny as most hotel rooms in tbis city are. It has cute old style windows and window drapes. The market and restaurants were just a short walk down the hill. This place was cute. The manager, Esmile was extremely helpful and has a great sense of humor. The owner helped us with currency exchange and helped pay the taxi driver. Overall, a plesant experience. Will i come back to this city agin? May be if it was enroute on a trip.

The room was very comfortable. Hotel has lovely views over the old town, which is easily walkable, and they have dedicated parking which is great if you are driving. The check in process was easy and the staff are very attentive and hard working. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Why not a perfect score? A couple of things. On our final morning, a staff member confronted another couple over not scoring a perfect 10/10 in their review. Also, the front door was locked in the morning and we couldn’t exit until staff unlocked the door from the outside. Not sure if this is standard practice, but this would be dangerous in an emergency.

We loved how close it was to shopping, although the walk was a little rough down some rocky stairs. The breakfast was wonderful with a beautiful view.

Charming hotel with amazing views! My husband and I were warmly welcomed and given a quick intro to the city. The city center is a short walk away. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious with a great backdrop of the cityscape. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

We have really enjoyed our stay. It’s a nice authentic little hotel owned by a lovely family. You can really feel like back in a day silk road trader that used to stay at Safranbolu, but without sacrificing your comfort. Amazing views on a town and a very tasty local breakfast. The owner is super kind, nice and helpful. Almost all of places were still closed because of the COVID so he invited us for a barbecue they were having for their family.

Homey style hotel in this lovely Turkish town

We checked in pretty late due to traffic from Istanbul and the host of the hotel was very hospitable to check us in and showed us everything we needed. The room was very cute and instantly made you feel home. The design of the hotel room was extraordinary and filled with traditional Turkish home details. The breakfast was awesome as well next to this gorgeous morning views of the town. The hospitality of the hotel staff will fuel energy and joy for the start of your day!

Perfectly renovated old Konak (old Turkish mansion) with excellent view of Safranbolu. The owner was very kind and helpful. His recommendations helped us a lot when sightseeing around Safranbolu. Every important landmark and central bazaar is in walking distance from the hotel. The room was historically authentic and comfortable. I would recommend this place to every traveler who wants to visit the magnificient city of Safranbolu.

끝내주는 전망과 친절함, 주차는 ㅎㅎㅎ

방은 약간 작지만 깨끗하고 가장 위쪽에 위치해서 구 시가 전체가 내려다보이며 바로 걸어내려갈 수 있는 위치입니다. 터키어만 가능하지만 행동으로 설명해주고 친절해서 전혀 불편하진 않지만 처음 찾아갈 때는 구글에서 위치를 확인하고 가시는게 좋습니다. 주차는 가능한데 들어가는 길이.... 많이 좁고 큰 차는 못 들어갑니다. 약간 불편한 점이 있지만 놀러간다면 여기에 다시 묶을 생각입니다. 장점 : 가성비와 전망, 친절함 단점 : 주차 난이도, 방이 약간 작음

Host is really nice.

Mr Abudllah is very kind, I arrive to hotel in the early morning, he allowed me check in early and also upgraded me to a better room, thank you. The room is very big and toilet is clean as well. However, the heater is not work very well to me, so I feel a bit cold at night, other than that, everything was prefect!!!!!!!! Location is good, can easily walk to every attractions, although a bit uphill, but you could manage. Furthermore, they provided traditional Turkish breakfast, it was so nice.

beautiful view!!!! super nice owner!!! but I fact a little bit small for 3 peoples but everything still good !! I must recommend this house to my friend if they come to aafranbolu they also have breakfast to us, the first night we request "breakfast" around 12 coz we just so tired for the long flight. they really make us breakfast at 12 tn the next day!!! thank you very much!!!

Excellent hospitality in historic hotel

This hotel is located in two historic buildings in Safranbolu which retain their original charm and features very nicely, whilst having all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. It is a small hotel, with only 10 rooms, and the host, Abdullah, is the most friendly and welcoming man you could wish for. He was full of local information and was delighted to accommodate anything we needed, including restaurant recommendations and a short history of the town. The hotel has a great vantage point over the town, with lovely views, particularly at night with the town lit up. The traditional Turkish breakfast was very good and plentiful and the breakfast room again has a great view over the town. It's a short walk from the hotel into the heart of Safranbolu, and the town was one of the highlights of our trip. We can highly recommend Seyir Konak Otel and Abdullah's hospitality.
