Nothing else much to do around, there were a few shops around but they were closed the weekend we spent there. Lovely multilingual staff. "When we arrived, the two young ladies on reception (one on Ibis, one on Ibis Budget) both insisted that I needed to have a sheet of paper to be able to check in. (Bond du something). The booking number or my noame were worthless. Gallic shrugs all round. Eventually, I said I had not booked as a package with our Futuroscope tickets, and smiles and dcomprehension dawned, our number was looked up, my name was there. Really, these receptionists should not assume everyone has booked a Futuroscope...

"A total mistake on my part making a booking at this hotel. It's inadequate in every way possible, no proper en suite, awful towels, etc. etc. I do not understand how a family could cope in these so called family rooms. Unfortunately I did not realise it is trying to be a theme type experience, rather than being a 'proper" hotel. We arrived at 5 pm and there was no parking available. The reception, corridor flooring etc. is as scruffy as you can get. I hope this helps to dissuade you from booking...

"The room had absolutely no heating. The temperature was -1c. It would be impossible to sleep in a room at this temperature. We were offered another room. This also had no heating. Eventually reception averred us a portable room heater. Also, we plugged our car in to the electric charger at 11pm for an overnight charge. We were charged 130 euros - the most expensive charge we have ever had. they charge for time (not electricity). Are you expected to get up in the middle of the night to unplug...
