“We arranged our stay at the last minute whilst travelling south. However, the owners were more than prepared for our stay. They both greeted us and asked if we would require an evening meal which we did. They were able to join us for a drink before serving the MOST delicious four course meal from locally sourced produce (including from their own garden) and wine at a very reasonable price. Comfortable bed and traditional breakfast. Highly recommend xxx”

“Great location over looking the river with easy access to paths and nearby water park, cinema and theatre. Per friendly and helpful staff.”

“Nice, straightforward hotel on river front. Free parking on opposite side of the road. Arrive after 3:30pm for check in. Restaurants about 5 mins walk. Nice cosy room with river view, and simple breakfast, with boiled eggs made to order. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Great value. Recommended. Note, Womens Tour de France leaving from Macon 5 August 2026.”

“Wow, what a room we had. We stayed in the family suite. It was huge and would recommend you stay here. There is no A/C in the room but the huge windows helped with the breeze. There were a few things that was not great but the room made up for it. If we would have known we would of stayed more nights. The Chateau has a vineyard attached to it, and we were able to walked and watched the harvesting of the grapes. The few things we encountered were when we arrived early, we were told that there...
