"Food was excellent and service in the restaurant very good. The overall ambience was very pleasant. Our room was disappointing. It was small with no seat other than the bed. Wardrobe and drawer provision were inadequate even for a 2 night stay. The lack of parking is a serious problem with a 800 yard walk to pick up the car unacceptable to many of your guests, but it's a problem that won't go away."

The only disappointing part of the stay is that breakfast does not start until 9am, which for us was too late as we needed to get on with the day. "A lovely spot for an overnighter. Comfortable room and good facilities. Nice bathroom with overhead shower. Had dinner in the restaurant next door (The King of Prussia) which was excellent and recommended. Hotel breakfast was full English. Not great just OK. Poached egg was watery and cold. Beans were in a microwaved rammakin and hotter than a solar flare. Bacon hard and dry… No parking is a pain, had to walk next part of a mile to the car in the rain next morning. But that’s Fowey. "
